Is Agefield High Rock the School Switch 2 Coming Out?

As of August 2026, developer Refugium Games has **not officially announced** a version of Agefield High: Rock the School for Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2.

The developer's immediate post-launch focus remains fixing PC Steam performance and delivering the scheduled Late 2026 PS5 and Xbox Series X|S console releases.

Hardware Feasibility & Port Potential

Because Agefield High requires DirectX 12, 16 GB of RAM, and SSD storage on PC, porting the open-world town to original Nintendo Switch hardware would require significant graphical downscaling.

However, the more powerful hardware profile of Nintendo Switch 2 makes a future handheld port technically feasible. Refugium Games has indicated that post-launch platform expansions will be evaluated after primary console versions ship.
